The fabric is a split microfibre weave with a very high thread count, so each cloth holds many times its own weight in liquid and traps fine particles in the pile instead of smearing them across the surface. Machine wash them without fabric softener, which clogs the fibres and is what ruins microfibre over time.

Use them on windows and mirrors, kitchen worktops, hobs and appliances, car interiors and bodywork, wheels, dashboards, screens, spectacles and general dusting. Keeping colour coded sets for different rooms avoids carrying grease and bathroom bacteria through to the kitchen. Wash them before first use to clear any manufacturing residue, and skip the tumble dryer, since high heat melts the fine fibres that do the actual work.
