Shipping & Delivery

At Plainlys we want your order to reach you safely and as quickly as possible. Below is everything we can tell you about where we ship, how long it takes, and what happens if something goes wrong.

Where We Ship

Plainlys currently ships to addresses within the United States only. We do not offer international shipping at this time. If you place an order for delivery outside the United States, we will contact you and issue a full refund.

Orders are dispatched from our fulfilment location in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Shipping Options and Cost

Two options are available at checkout:

  • Standard shipping — free on every order. No minimum spend.
  • Express shipping — $15.00. Optional upgrade, selected at checkout.

The shipping cost for your order is shown in full at checkout before you pay. We do not add handling fees or surcharges after checkout.

Order Processing

Orders are processed and prepared for shipment within 1–3 business days of being placed. During holidays, promotions, or periods of high order volume, processing may take up to 7 business days.

Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding US public holidays. Once your order has been handed to the carrier it is considered dispatched.

Estimated Delivery Time

After dispatch, delivery within the United States typically takes:

  • Standard shipping: 5–10 business days
  • Express shipping: 2–4 business days

So a Standard order placed today usually arrives within 6–13 business days in total, counting processing time.

These are estimates, not guaranteed delivery dates. Actual delivery times can vary with your location, the carrier, weather, holidays and carrier volume.

Order Tracking

You will receive tracking information by email once your order has been dispatched. You can also enter your tracking number on our Track My Order page.

If tracking has not updated straight away, please allow a little time for the carrier's system to register the package after it enters transit.

Shipping Delays

Delays can happen for reasons outside our control, including severe weather, carrier backlogs, high shipping volumes, holidays, transportation disruptions, and incorrect or incomplete shipping information.

If your order is delayed, email support@plainlys.com with your order number and we will chase it with the carrier on your behalf.

Incorrect Shipping Information

Please check your shipping address carefully before placing your order.

If you spot an error, contact support@plainlys.com within 24 hours of placing the order. We will do our best to correct it before dispatch, but we cannot guarantee changes once an order has entered processing.

Plainlys is not responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address supplied by the customer.

Lost or Stolen Packages

If tracking shows your package as delivered but you cannot find it, please check around your delivery location, ask household members or neighbours, check with your building's front desk or mailroom, and contact the carrier to report the issue.

If you still cannot locate it, email support@plainlys.com and we will help you open a claim with the carrier. Plainlys is not responsible for packages confirmed as delivered that are subsequently lost or stolen.

Damaged Packages

If your package arrives damaged, email support@plainlys.com with your order number and clear photos of the packaging and the product. Where an item arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, we cover the cost of return shipping and send a replacement or issue a full refund.

Returns

You may request a return within 90 days of delivery. Full details, including who pays return shipping and how refunds are issued, are on our Returns and Refunds page.
